Rating Staff

What is it?

You can use AccuTrack to collect ratings of your staff members (e.g. tutors, advisors, etc.). This useful tool can help staff members improve their performance by identifying their strength and weaknesses as seen in the eyes of their students.

How it works?

First you set up the questions that constitute a staff-rating survey. You can set up to ten multiple-choice questions and include an open-comments box. When the survey is ready, you can set up how often it will appear to student. For example, you can select to show the survey to the student after 3 meetings with the staff member. AccuTrack will show the survey in the appropriate time and will report on the results.

Sample Survey:

The following are just examples of questions you can set up. Note that you are free to use these or to create your own as appropriate. The following questions come from a tutor survey:

The tutor treated you with respect.
The tutor helped you understand the material.
The tutor encouraged you through questions and comments.
The tutor listened carefully.
The tutor was courteous and showed concern for your needs.
The tutor was sensitive and/or helped to instill confidence in your skills.
The tutor explained concepts in a way that you could understand.
The tutor was patient and attentive.
The tutor was capable of solving the problem or utilized available resources.
Open Comments Question: What would have made your tutoring session more beneficial?

Reports:

1) Tutor Rating Report: Shows the students response to each question for each tutor.

2) Comments Reports: Displays the open-comments students entered on each tutor.
