Appointment Wizard

The Appointments Wizard provides a powerful and easy-to-use interface for finding open appointment slots. The Wizard can be used by either staff members settings appointments for students or directly by students. The user first selects the service (e.g. Algebra tutoring, career advising, resume help, etc.), and optionally a staff member. The user can also select the days of the week for the appointment.

In the above screen shot the user is scheduling an appointment in a tutoring center. The user selected Biology 2 and tutor Michelle Pfeiffer. Selecting the tutor is optional. If no tutor is selected, AccuTrack will display the schedules of all tutors that work with Biology 2, thus showing all open slots for this service.

When the student clicks on Next, AccuTrack will show the open slots:

The open slots are shown in green. The user simply selects one or more of displayed open slots for the appointment.

The administrator has complete control over this process. For example, the administrator can also set minimum and maximum appointment duration, the appointments' start time increment, the type of appointment allowed, etc. The administrator can also set up restrictions on how many appointments per week are allowed for each student, and so on
