Tracking Loaned Material
AccuTrack can help you track materials that you loan
to your students. For example, if your students borrow reference books, DVDs, headphones, calculators, or laptops, then you can
use AccuTrack to track these items and report on their usage.
You can enter your media stock into AccuTrack manually or via import from an electronic file. Once you have your media entered, you are ready to check it in and out with AccuTrack.
You can even use a barcode reader to speed up the check in and check out process. You can easily print barcodes and attach them to your media, and then scan these barcodes to quickly check the items in and out. You can also print barcodes and attach them to the student ID card so you can also scan the student's ID! We can show you how to print out your own barcodes and we can offer you barcode readers that read these barcodes.
AccuTrack offers some additional helpful features including the ability to automatically email students with a reminder when they are late in returning media. The student will also get a reminder when they sign in to your center. If a student who has past due media wants to check out other items, AccuTrack will show you a list of the past due items they have so you would know the status before checking more items to them.
Reports
From the checkout data, AccuTrack can generate the following
reports:
Media List: Shows all media in the database and its checkout status.
Media Checkouts: Shows the media checkout history for
each item.
Late Media: Shows late returns and provides detailed
information including the media ID, title, due time, check
out time, and how long it is past due. It also gives
information about the student who checked it out, his
or her phone number, ID #, instructor and
class (if entered).
