AccuTrack 9 is here!

We are pleased to announce the release of version 9 of AccuTrack. This major update to the software includes numerous new features and enhancements. Most of these features were requested by current users of AccuTrack. You asked and we listened!
The work on AccuTrack 9 started over a year ago by identifying enhancements to add to version 8. To accomplish this task, we sent out a survey to AccuTrack users, and we received over a hundred responses. We also checked the Wish List on the AccuTrack online forum, the suggestions from our training sessions, the support emails from clients, and other sources too. At the end of this process we accumulated over 50 pages of ideas for AccuTrack 9!
The next step was to analyze the suggestions to decide on the most important features and enhancements. After a lot of consideration, we reduced the requirements to 10 pages. These pages represented the ideas that are most useful to the users and established the foundation for AccuTrack 9 specifications document. We passed this document to our programming team for implementation.
The programming effort has been going on for a little over a year. In January of 2006 we released the first beta version of AccuTrack 9 to a select group of AccuTrack users. The beta testing went in parallel to our in-house testing. Many new ideas and enhancements came out from these tests. We also did a lot of testing ourselves. The feedback from beta testing and our in-house testing was used to further improve the software.
The development process was finally completed in May of 2006 as version 9 was finally ready! The AccuTrack team has worked very hard in developing version 9, and we are proud with what we have accomplished. New Support Service for AccuTrack 9

We are introducing an exciting new subscription service for AccuTrack 9 users. The new Platinum Plus subscription provides many benefits, including the ability to get all AccuTrack upgrades for free and to enjoy unlimited Priority Support. This new service makes it possible to budget AccuTrack spending as part of your annual IT budget to ensure access to the latest features and best support possible.
Not only will subscribers get all AccuTrack upgrades for free, but they will also be able to request new features and enhancements too. All requests will be considered, and if approved, the enhancements will be implemented and included in the next Platinum Plus upgrade release. Platinum Plus upgrades will be offered periodically and will only be available to Platinum Plus subscribers.
The subscription service also includes unlimited Priority Support delivered via phone, email, or the AccuTrack online forum. Subscribers will have an exclusive area on the AccuTrack Support forum for getting priority support and requesting and discussing features.
Note that we will continue to provide all users, whether subscribed to the Platinum Plus plan or not, with free maintenance updates. However, maintenance updates will only contain bug fixes and will not include new features or enhancements.
Members of the AccuTrack Platinum Plus Subscription will have these advantages:
- Free AccuTrack upgrades including major software upgrades - via Internet download.
- Free maintenance upgrades delivered via Internet download.
- Ability to request new features and enhancements. All requests will be evaluated and if approved will be included in the next Platinum upgrade release.
- Ability to get exclusive Platinum upgrades.
- Access to an exclusive area on the AccuTrack support forum that is only available to Platinum subscribers. Use this area to request new features and enhancements and to discuss the upgrades with the AccuTrack staff and other Platinum subscribers.

The annual subscription fee for the Platinum Plus plan depends on the software license owned and starts at only $749 for the single center, single location license. See the AccuTrack 9 price sheet for more details.
NOTE: The AccuTrack Platinum Plus Subscription plan can only be ordered with new software license or with software upgrade order. This means you must order the subscription either at the same time or within 30 days from ordering your AccuTrack 9 software license. The subscription fee is per year and starts on the day the software is delivered to your college. At the end of the year subscribers can renew their subscription for continuous service.

New Licensing Options for AccuTrack 9

In response to clients' needs, we are introducing new licensing options starting with AccuTrack 9:
Single Center, Single Location License: This license allows unlimited installations at a single location for one center. This means one center with one name and at one physical location (room or building). The Single Center Single Location license replaces the Single Sign-in Station license we offered with previous versions of AccuTrack. The new license allows more than one sign-in station at the same center, which is handy for busy centers.
Single Center, Multiple Locations License: This license allows unlimited installations at multiple locations and sites for one center. With this license a center that has multiple locations (e.g. several locations at a single campus or even at different campuses), can have unlimited sign-in stations and administration stations at all of its sites. The different locations can be using a single database or separate databases.
District-Wide License: This license is intended for school districts with multiple colleges or universities. This license allows unlimited installations at all district sites and locations.
In Addition to the above new license options, we will continue offering the following licenses:
Campus-Wide License: This license allows unlimited installations at different centers at a single campus. For example, the software can be used in all tutoring labs, advising centers, counseling offices, and others - as long as they are all at the same campus.
College-Wide License: This license allows unlimited installations at all college or university sites and locations. This includes different centers at different campuses.

AccuTrack Bahamas Training Cruise

Introducing New Sales Reps

We are pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our AccuTrack team: Linda Brooks and Mary Oberhelman. Linda has solid experience in customer service and sales, including experience as a sales consultant for a health software product by John Wiley and Sons, Inc. Mary has extensive sales experience in support and sales including over seven years with NCG Medical Systems, Inc., a developer of medical practice software.

AccuTrack Goes International!

We are happy to see AccuTrack adopted not only in almost all the US states but also abroad. Recently we had orders from Canada, the United Kingdom, and also Puerto Rico. AccuTrack was the first commercial software of its kind specifically designed for academic centers and we are proud to see it used in academic centers around the world.

Version 8.1 is now shipping

Version 8.1 is a free update version to all licensed AccuTrack 8 users. This version has several new features including 3 new appointment reports, a new filtering option on all SuperTables, enhancements to several existing reports, and more!
The above enhancements took about 2 weeks of work, and we are happy to make them available to all AccuTrack users via the AccuTrack 8.1 update. As usual, the latest version of AccuTrack 8 will automatically download in a few days if you have Auto Updates enabled in the Options screen. Alternatively you can click on the "Update Checker" to initiate the update. For a detailed list of the changes in version 8.1 visit the AccuTrack Updates page via the Help Center.

AccuTrack Training CD

We are pleased to announce the release of a new way to learn AccuTrack 8. The AccuTrack Training CD is a multimedia CD designed to help you master AccuTrack. The material on the CD is based on our live training session and uses text, screen shots, and over 60 videos to teach you how to make the most of your AccuTrack software. You can learn at your own pace, repeat sections as needed, and concentrate on the sections of most interest. Version 8 is now shipping

We are pleased to announce the release of AccuTrack version 8. This latest version is the result of over 14 months of work that involved designers, programmers, and testers. Over 10 pages of new features and enhancements were added to this version. These features came directly from the feedback of hundreds of AccuTrack users and our personal interactions with learning center administrators during conferences and training sessions. Creating the specifications of version 8 was time consuming and required a lot of effort. As a result, we are keeping the details of the new features confidential for now. All we can tell you is that AccuTrack 8 is the best and most comprehensive academic center software you can buy! We are very pleased with what we accomplished with version 8 and believe you will like it too.

Version 7.03 of AccuTrack Deluxe Released

AccuTrack version 7.03 is a maintenance upgrade for AccuTrack 7. Version 7.03 fixes all known bugs up-to-date. If you are using AccuTrack Deluxe version 7.00, 7.01, or 7.02 contact us for instructions on downloading your free copy of version 7.03. For more info on this release, click on the "Updates" button in the Database screen of your AccuTrack 7 software (from System Administration click on Database and then on Updates).

New AccuTrack Plug-in for Computer Labs

We are pleased to announce the release of a new plug-in for AccuTrack Deluxe 7. This plug-in offers the following benefits:
Track usage of your computers.
Limit usage to registered students.
Allow students to sign in to AccuTrack from their work computer.
And more!
The plug-in is special software that runs on each computer in your lab or tutoring center. To use the computer, the student must sign in by entering his or her ID number and selecting an activity. If the log-in is valid, AccuTrack will minimize to allow the student to use the computer as usual. When finished, the student can click on a floating "Log Out" button. This will restore AccuTrack for the next user.

Version 7.02 of AccuTrack Deluxe is now shipping

Licensing Fees Change

Version 5.7 of AccuTrack Deluxe

We just finished a new version of AccuTrack
Deluxe. Version 5.7 adds the following to the features
of version 5.5:
A
powerful Import Wizard to help import
students' data. With a few simple steps, you can import
the student's name, contact info, and profile data from
a number of supported text file formats.
The Reports screen was
modified to export the data of the
selected report. You can export the data to a comma
delimited text file, a fixed-length (SDF) text file,
or to an Excel file.
The ability to automatically
calculate appointments no-shows. The
calculations are based on parameters you define, including
acceptable tardiness time. You can view the records
and enter a no-show reason, and you can print out a
No-show report.
The sign-in screen was
modified to skip the Activities and
Tutors screens when a student signs in for an appointment.
The Activity and Tutor name are copied directly from
the Appointment's record. This in an optional feature
that can be turned off from the Configuration screen.
Added a Tutor Schedule
report to show the weekly work hours of your staff..
Added a Tutoring
Assignments report to show the tutors assigned
to each class.

Version 4.2 of AccuTrack Computer

AccuTrack at the NTA Conference
April 15, 2000
The eighth annual National Tutoring Association conference
was held April 9-12 in San Antonio, Texas, and we were
there with AccuTrack. During the conference we had an
exhibit table, two presentation sessions, and received
an award from the NTA. .

Version 5.3 of AccuTrack Deluxe
January 3, 2000
We are now accepting orders for an version 5.3 of AccuTrack
Deluxe. This version will have all the features of version
5.0 and the following new features:
Separate
Staff work-hours tracking capability,
with the option of either showing staff a special Activity
screen or just recording their sign-in time. Four staff-hour
reports were added.
Ability to edit
students' and staff sign-in records.
New Import Utility
for importing student ID#, full name, and telephone
from a comma delimited or a fixed-length text file.
New Quick Locate
function that lets you to type in the first
few letters of a record to find it quickly.
Ability to force
proper capitalization of names. Not only you
can force this at the data entry level, but you can
apply it existing students records.
Enhanced Messaging
Center. Added a date-time stamp to all messages,
a new "message expiration" date, and the ability
