I just performed an installation of Weblink on a computer that was recently upgraded from windows 2000 to windows XP pro.
After running the configuration utility I get an DCOM permissions error message that reads:
Cannot add user to application access ACL the parameter is incorrect (57)

Sounds like a Windows DCOM error. Please see the following post for screenshots showing how to configure Windows DCOM:

The problem gets worse...
While following the screen shots
Clicking the access permissions on the accuweb.accuwebserver properties dialog results in a generic MS error stating MMC encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have applied all MS updates and removed McAfee 8.0i
Both errors continue
