We have deleted old student data and starting to enter new students into the database (via the Welcome New Student sign in page.

When we enter the data, click Continue, we get this error box:

 

Program Error

File access is denied c:\program files (x86)\acculite6\_3sw0jbqp8.txt

Then AccuLite closes and we have to restart the program.

 

Any help is appreciated,

The error message says that the software is unable to update one of its files.  This could be caused by limited access rights given by Windows to the log-in account used when running the software, or it could be that the software or its database are installed in read-only folder.

 

To fix this problem, either run the software with a higher access account, or install the software into a folder that does not have restrictions (e.g. C:\Users\Public\Documents).
