(I had just assumed the variable id length would be automatic--like the other changes.)

There may be a problem with our installation, then. The current backups are in Accu80, not Accu9. I have tried replacing the Accudata folder files in both programs, but I'm still having trouble.

At least the program still works!

Never mind. I just realized that I had named the Categories 01, 02, etc. in Accutrack and Excel showed the numbers as 1, 2, 3. Once I changed the Number format in Excel (and the txt file) to show 2 digits, the info imported.

Thanks anyway, and I hope I won't have any more problems!

Currently there is no report, list or alike where you can see and edit them (there is Modify Students form but that would mean one-by-one).

I have to talk about this with the management first. Management decides what enhancement goes into product and for which edition(s) - (you're a platinum  plus subscriber, right? Then you have a high chance to get it very soon, maybe in a quick utility form before the full update is ready).

Thanks Mon.  Every bit of help helps us a lot!  Do I need to list this request in Platinum Plus?

Also, this may belong on another thread, but is there a chance our request for variable bar code lengths can be accommodated?  We've tried manually creating new identities, replacing student IDs with the shorter barcodes, but then we have to reregister each student and combine 2 files for attendance, etc.  It's very time consuming.

If it's done:
-Do you want it to be a dropdown as it is now, but show more lines at a time?
-Or do you want it to be a List box instead like Category and Activity listson left?

23 might be too much but row count is also dependant on type (with list I need screen real estate and would do how much fits, with drop down it might be more and could overlap Instructors box when dropped down)

As it is now, we have a blank line for service type and we have to click the drop down and then scroll down to see more than 6 or 7 lines at a time.
We'd prefer List so that we don't have to click to open it up. Is it possible to use a scroll down with a List box to see additional items?
If the list box is limited in size and a scroll down option is not possible, we'd like to show more lines at a time with a drop down mode.
