we have been receiving this error message intermittently on one machine at the front desk since we began to use Accutrack. Recently, however, it has been happening more and more often and causing more disruption because you have to close the application after many repeats of the error message.

See the attachment for the screeshot of the error message.

Try running data repair:

http://www.accutrack...repair_data.htm

Also make sure you are using the latest version of the software (7.04 if you have version 7 or 8.1 if you have version 8).

we run the repair utility and clean utility everyday, but still have the same problem very frequently.

This AccuTrack 7 database is on a network drive. We have different computers that can be used to access it. But this problem only occurs for one of the machine.

If the error only occurs on one machine then it's probably an installation problem. Since your data is shared, I assume the database is on a different computer? If so, then I recommend you completely remove AccuTrack from the computer with this problem. You can use the Windows Add/Remove utility for this and then go to the installation folder (C:\Program Files\Accu7) and delete it if it's still there.

After removing the software reinstall it using the "minimum install" option. Next update the installation with the latest version of AccuTrack 7 (version 7.04B). You can do this by downloading the udpate file from our website or you can copy the 'acutrack.exe' file from an updated installation to your new installation.

After updating the exe launch the software. It will ask you for the location of its database. Point it to the shared data folder on the network.

Let us know if you have any questions.
