Can we edit the Media Checked out log? If the wrong item was checked out to a student we do not want it to be listed on reports. Thank you!

Hi,

 

Unfortunately you cannot edit past media checkout logs.  

 

When you say "the wrong item was checked out to the student", what exactly do you mean:

1. The student was checking out item A but item B was entered at the check out screen instead, OR

2. The student checked out item A, but that was the wrong item and the student should have selected item B to check out.

 

If #1 is the problem, then you should use a barcode scanner to check items out.  This is faster and more accurate and will eliminate the error.

 

If #2 is the problem, then the system shows correct actions even if the student took the wrong action.  In this case the student should return the wrong item and check out the appropriate one.
