Accutrack running very slow with new installations, but older installations are running fine. As long as the database is on the local PC it runs as expected. Server runs fine and so does other apps on server.

It could be a slow network connection.  To test that, copy the database to a local folder and point AccuTrack to use it.  Test the speed and if it's good, then it's the network.  Don't forget to point the software back to the shared location and delete the local copy.

To solve slow-down issues try AccuSQL.  This software has the same features AccuTrack does but uses the Microsoft SQL Server database.  This makes it a true client-server system.  With AccuSQL, the SQL Server will do the database manipulation on the server, which means a lot less data needs to travel across the network.  This is why it's faster. The database will be more secure and stable too.  Contact our support department for a complimentary trial of AccuSQL to determine how its speed compares to AccuTrack's.
