Error 1102 "Cannot Create File"

I am still using 10, clean install, Win 7, user has admin rights and I get the following error.

"Cannot create file "C:\program files\accu10\_backup_accutr.exe" and also "C:\program files\accu10\accutr.exe

It lets me open it once, then I point to the database and restart, thats when I get the error.

Any help would be appreciated. We are almost ready to go to 11 and 12, but I had to do a reinstall today, and now I can't get it too work.

Hi,

The error states that the software is unable to create files in the C:\Program Files\Accu10 folder. Most likely, Windows is preventing updates to this folder.

The "_backup_accutr.exe" file is actually a backup of 'accutr.exe', which exists in the Accu10 folder. AccuTrack backs up this file when it finds an update for it. Before copying the latest version over, it creates a copy of the old version. Since it is unable to do this, you are now running an older version of this (and probably other) files.

The solution to this is to perform the backup procedure manually by simply copying over the upgrade files. A detailed example of doing this is shown here:
