We currenlty have our main sign-in station located on a computer with a wireless network card. We are experiencing delays of at least 30 seconds for students signing in and out. Is this something that you have experienced? I'm trying to determine if it is a program issue or potentially due to the wireless card. Any advice is appreciated. At first the sign-in and out process was very quick and now we have a line of students. Please help!

You did not mention your version number?
Anyway, the speed of the sign-in depends on several factors, including:
1. Your network speed.
2. Size of your database
3. Computer speed
4. AccuTrack version.
The last item is mentioned because sign-ins with AccuTrack 10 is much faster than AccuTrack 9 or 8. For the details, see this web page: http://www.accutrack...0SpeedTests.htm
Another solution: If your software is running too slow, or if you are getting too many 'improper shutdown' messages, then consider the new AccuSQL software. This is AccuTrack running on a Microsoft SQL Server backend. The SQL Server is much faster and more reliable. Contact us for more information.
