We have just started using the magnetic stripe reader, and have had to resort to the keyboard many more times that we would like in order to get a student registered in AccuTrack. Students use their ids to buy almost everything on and off campus, so they are used to swiping their ids. But they get frustrated quickly with the AccuTrack reader.
Has anyone had similar problems? How have you improved things? We attached our reader to the desk top with double tape and it sits very securely.
Thanks for any ideas you can share!

Jenny,
I have been waiting to see if anyone with similar problems would answer your post, but as you can see there are no replies yet. In a way that's good as it seems most customers are having good experience with the ID readers. I'm sorry that this was not the case for you. I would like to sgguest that you send us a sample ID card for testing. We will see if there is something we can do to help resolve this issue. You can mail the sample card to this address:
