If you get a message that the 13.0.3 update of AccuSQL 2014 is available then you can update your system to this new update. Updates can either be enabled automatically in System >> Setup >> System Options Auto Download enabled, or can be downloaded manually by clicking on Help Center >> Download Updates.

Using either method, AccuSQL will download the update files it needs and then try to copy those files back to itself. If files are in use, or if Windows security or group policy settings prevent this procedure, AccuSQL will indicate to you that the auto-update was not successful. If this is the case when you try to install the update, then you will need to copy the updated files in manually. To do so, perform the following steps:

1) Login to AccuSQL 2014 as an administrator, then click on Database on the right side of the main System Administration screen. Now click Database Location and then click Next.

- See image 1 below for screen shot -

2) You will see a Shared Folder path. Click the Show Path in Explorer button.

3) In that folder view, you should see an UPDATES folder (you may have to go up a folder level from where you are to see it).

- See image 2 below for screen shot -

4) Now completely exit AccuSQL Keep the UPDATES folder open.

5) The UPDATES folder contains the files that were downloaded that are required for the update. Select all the files and then copy them.

6) Now go to the folder where AccuSQL 2014 is installed (default is either C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuSQL2014 or C:\Program Files\AccuSQL2014) and do a Copy and Replace of the files.

- See image 3 below for screen shot -

7) Reopen AccuSQL 2014 and then login as an administrator again. In the Title Bar of AccuSQL 2014, it should say Build 13.0.3. If so, congratulations, you have manually updated successfully. If not, contact us at support@accutrack.org and we willl be happy to assist.
