Did you know that your SuperTable control has built-in sort, search, filter, print, and export capabilities? Here is how to do these useful functions:

First for those who do not know, the SuperTable control is any table with the yellow highlight.

Sorting: Sort by a column by clicking on the header of the column. Click again to reverse the sorting order.

Searching: To search on a value in a column, first click on any cell in that column and then start typing the value you want to find. You will notice that the header of the column will change to reflect what you are typing, and the selection in the table will move to zoom in on what you are typing. Tip: Search would be easier if you sort on that column first.

Filtering: Filter by a value by simply right clicking on the cell with that value. You will see a pop up menu with several options. Select the "Filter on this vaule" option. You can also filter out a value by using the 'exclude' selection.

Printing: To print the data of the SuperTable, first click anywhere on the table so it has the foucs. Next hit the F5 key on your keyboard. You will see the data on the screen. Click the Print icon to print the data out.

Export to Excel: To export the data of the SuperTable to Microsoft Excel, first click anywhere on the table so it has the foucs. Next hit the F6 key on your keyboard. Note that Excel must be installed for this to work. Once in Excel, you can use Excel functions on the data, or you can export it out from Excel into other applications.

Select All: Use the fast selection shortcuts to select your records. Hit the + key on your numeric keypad to select all records. Alternatively, you can right click on the table and click "Select All" from the pop up menu.

Selecting a Group in Multiple Selection Table: If you need to select a group of consecutive records, then start by clicking on the first record, hold down the shift key, and then click on the last record. This will automatically select all records in between.
