Hi Accudemia,

Trying to lock down a generic account for a sign station.  We are using a fake proxy on the station.  We need to have a list of exceptions for the proxy.  No wildcard allowed with URL.  Can you provide a list of URLs to add to the exception.

Hi Sean,

Do you need the full list of URLs used by Accudemia? Including all the files that could be downloaded in a sign-in station such as images and script files?

Since there are multiple pages that can be opened if the user navigates, the list will contain hundreds of files, including files that might be dynamically generated. For example, one file would be: http://cdn2.accudemi...che/All-gzip.js

The big number in the middle of the file will change from time to time for caching reasons.

Please tell me what you want to achieve in that computer so we can find a better solution.

Hi Diego,

We are trying to create a machine to use as a sign in station. The issue we are having is creating a generic account to use a web browser. We have been able to look down account to use IE only. However, we are trying to limit them to just the sign in site.

Sean,

There are many ways to do that. Google Chrome has a specific Kiosk mode that might work for you.

Here's a good solution using Chrome: http://nuance1.blogs...on-windows.html

Also, using Firefox, a user in this forum describes how to create a good lockdown:

Also, using IE's Content Advisor: http://www.boutell.c...restrictie.html

Another option would a service such as www.opendns.com, or having your own DNS server. However, you won't be able to restrict direct access using other servers IP addresses.

Please take into account that there's one additional restriction on using a fake proxy, as Accudemia uses HTTPS, I think you are not going to be able to limit such kind of connections unless you restrict access by IP (the domain and requested path is also encrypted and cannot be seen by proxies AFAIK).
