AccuTrack in Action
Also check out this case study by graduate students.
Here are some pictures of a nice AccuTrack setup
at Odessa College Student Learning Center. Odessa students sign in and out on the AccuTrack station by themselves, and there is a receptionist to help if needed.
Of course this is just an example set up and you are free to set up the software in whatever way that best suites your center.
Learning Center Entrance

This is the entrance of the learning center. Notice the AccuTrack sign-in computer in right side of the entrance. A large "Sign In Before Entering" sign ensures that students are aware of the need to sign in. The back of this sign says "Sign Out Before Leaving". A receptionist working on another computer is visible in the back.
The AccuTrack Sign-in Station

This is the AccuTrack sign-in station (for a close up of this station click here). You can see a barcode reader on the left. To sign in, students wave their ID card in front of the reader. Students can also type their ID number on the keyboard. The receptionist is there to help if needed, but why does she have two monitors?
The Receptionist Station
A look at the receptionist station reveals why she has two monitors. The monitor on the left shows the screen from the AccuTrack sign-in station! This means the receptionist can monitor the student's sign-in process without having to leave her own station. If the student is new or needs assistance, the receptionist can switch to AccuTrack from her own computer and sign the student in.
